With an emphasis on thoughtful creativity and strong client relationships, Lesley has over 30 years’ experience of design leadership and management covering a diverse range of private and commercial sectors, at both ends of the market, internationally and in the UK. She first met the Hemingways whilst working at award-winning design company Din Associates, when she co-designed some of their Red or Dead shops and headed up the Dr Martens Covent Garden flagship design team. Her favourite was High St Kensington – using up-cycled found objects, furniture and materials from Wembley scrap yards on a £10,000 budget. Other clients include Ralph Lauren, Nicole Farhi, French Connection, Next, The D&AD, and The V&A. She has an open minded, objective approach to developing client vision beyond the expected and an analytical process from concept through to implementation.
