Festival Coordinator for First Light Festival (Based in Lowestoft)

First Light Festival C.I.C is looking for a freelance Festival Co-ordinator to join our team. First Light Festival C.I.C. is a young social enterprise which produces First Light Festival, a unique non-stop 24 hour celebration of arts and culture taking place on Lowestoft seafront.

We're looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and experience of working in the arts and/or not-for-profit sector in a similar role. You must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, be good at using your initiative and work well as part of a small team.

This will be an interesting and varied role, with key responsibilities including:

· Working with the First Light Festival Director and Project Manager throughout the year with planning and delivery of projects for First Light Festival.

· Provide administrative support to the First Light Festival team as required.

· Lead on artist liaison for the festival, including arranging artists’ travel, transport, accommodation and catering in accordance with contracts and working to set budgets.

· Curate and co-ordinate local community stalls, food and drink concessions and producers.

This contract is 4 days a week at £100 per day until September 2020, with possibility to extend subject to funding.
